I’m here to tell you that the truth doesn’t mean to hurt you. Your feelings on the truth can vary, but it has never intended to cause harm. It wants to simply exist in a world where it is often skewed. Now a lie, those are intended to make a fool of you. They trick you into a false sense of security. They gnaw at your heart, tearing connective tissue to shreds. Lies are ugly and painful, with the intention to deceive you.
